Early German MP38/40 blue six-cell carry pouch, « jhg42 »
Description
A rare and early MP38/40 six-cell pouch in blue web construction. The pouch is in nice lightly used condition. All black leather straps and belt loops are complete and all the stitching of the pouch remain complete as well. The belt loop is marked with the maker, year, and Waffenamt « jhg42 » (Gustav Genschow & CO). Also ink stamped in classic white on the reverse with the proper designation « MP38u.40 » and still visible. The two closing straps are present and fully functional with no condition issues and pliable. This type of pouch was used by the armored crew members and also well used by the paratroopers « Fallschirmjäger ». Desirable early pouch.
