Early German pioneer axe carrying case
Description
German pioneer axe carrying case. Early war construction in blackened leather and complete with its belt system attachment hook. All stitching present and in excellent condition. Leather is the heavier type with no condition issues. Minimal and light storage wear. Flap is barely used and shows no stress marks. Very nice and early marked along the interior flap area with the date « 31.JAN.1936 » and two Waffenampts. A scarce and difficult example to find in this condition.
