Description
A period German first type « Patronenkasten 36 » in tan camouflage finish. An early example of the first type produced. Stamped, formed and machined sheet metal steel. Heavy duty construction and fully functional. It retains over 95% of its original tan camouflage paint finish. Scratched F along the front flap. These ammunition carrier boxes would have been found in fixed MG gun emplacements to include fortified positions/bunkers. One of the harder and more desirable examples.
