Heer camouflage smock in water pattern
Superb Heer camouflage smock in water pattern. Of the earliest produced examples circa mid 1943. Constructed from three types of water pattern camouflage material. Sleeves and hood are different patterns of camouflage from the main body. Bright and rich colors throughout the smock. The material itself is printed on one side and a higher quality rayon cotton blend. These early and rarer examples retain metal grommets for the neck drawstring and waist ties as apposed to the common thread versions. All grommets are present and some show slight oxidation from storage. Nicely RBN numbers along the interior hood and size marked. Complete with all factory applied buttons. Smock retains its purple-blue colored waist adjustment strap in cotton. Condition is complete and excellent with only a handful of very small pin size holes along the middle back area. Rare and desirable example.
