M40 Heer single decal winter camouflage combat helmet, « Uffz. Navjoks »
Description
A very nice and rare M1940 Heer single decal winter camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is a nice « Q66 » with a lot number of « R897 ». The helmet's exterior retains a good amount of nicely applied white-wash paint. Wear is common on period examples as with this one. Showing mostly along the dome of the helmet. Heer decal is present and rates over 95% with light wear and still nicely covered with the winter camouflage paint. The split pins are present, complete and still attached. The helmet's interior is untouched and complete. Nicely named in white paint to the former soldier « Uffz. Navjoks ». The helmet's leather liner is in very nice slight used condition. Complete with drawstring and nicely ink stamped for size « 58 » along the tip of the leather tongue. The liner is nicely written in ink to the same officer as the back skirt and slightly readable. Complete full length chinstrap is present in a dark brown color. Some wear and use is present on the chinstrap but complete nonetheless.
