Superb Allgemeine SS belt and cross strap set. An excellent condition set comprising of belt, buckle, loops, and cross strap. The aluminum buckle is in excellent shape, showing the slightest use and retaining most of the factory silver finish. Nicely maker marked and dated « RZM 36/39 SS ». The belt is of black leather sized « 95cm », it retains its two original loops, the one of the back is even attached to the belt leather with a metal stud, one loop is marked « SS 48/35 RZM ». Cross strap is also in the same condition and nicely « SS » marked. The hardware still retains their original silver wash with slight evidence of use. Overall a nice condition matching set with an excellent belt buckle. This set is part of a small grouping found in Malmedy in the 1970s. Malmedy is a Belgian city annexed to Germany in 1940.
