A period and early British WWII Air Field Station flag. Factory made example from a heavier cotton linen material. Multi piece construction and properly maker marked along the edge. Measuring the correct size for a flag of its type « 47 x 90cm ». In very nice slightly used condition with some minor small rips. A rare and highly desirable flag that would have been seen on airfields especially during the BLITZ in 1941. Rare and desirable flag.
