Extremely rare carbon copy on rice paper of the message sent by Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe to the men of the 101st Airborne Division on December 24, 1944, featuring his now-famous reply to the German commander following the demand for surrender: « Nuts! ». Complete example, in very good overall condition, showing a small tear in the upper section and another in the lower section. It has been professionally framed for preservation.
