A pair of mint unissued Deutsche Afrikakorps tropical high boots. The boots are the best preserver example we are aware of. Leather was stored properly over the decades. Green cotton canvas fabric is bright in color and excellent condition. Stitching is fully intact and secure. The boots are marked properly, crisply and in multiple areas. Manufactured by the firm « SCHULZE & ULBRICHT » in ROSSWEIN » and dated « 1941 ». Soles are marked with the company name and size « 28 1/2 », both matching. Minimal if any light scuffs. Rich light brown and perfect leather. Metal heels are marked « 19 R/L » for size. A pair of original German laces come with the boots. A set that is even for the most discerning collector impossible to upgrade. These are extremely rare and a very desirable set of boots that would of seen service in the North African Theater of Operations. Choice !
