Early German EM overseas cap, « unit marked / 1938 »
Description
A choice early war German Heer enlisted mans overseas cap marked to an Artillery unit. Factory made example from a lighter feldgrau wool material. Correct and desirable early light « BeVo » insignia that are factory period hand applied. Overseas cap body is in excellent shape with only the slightest of wear present. The interior is correct with the light grey linen material. Properly maker marked, location and sized « 57 ». Also dated 1938 and unit marked « 2./A.R.40 ». A rare and desirable example in untouched condition.
