A very early German Heer combat / dress belt buckle set. Of the earliest manufactured buckles from a German nickel metal. Excellent detail in the die stamping present with a high relief still present. Left-facing example and only manufactured for an extremely short period of time. Buckle is retained on its period untouched belt set. Made from a complete and stiff black leather. Untouched and slightly dirty but remaining in as found condition. Stitching remains complete and tightly attached. A very rare and desirable belt set that almost never is offered on the public market. Choice.
