Description

An exceptional German Heer Infantry piped enlisted man's overseas cap. Factory made example from a lighter feldgrau wool material. Correct and desirable early light grey « BeVo » insignia that are factory hand applied. White soutache also complete and untouched. Overseas cap body is in excellent shape with only the lightest of wear and the lightest of soiling. Definitely a used and been there example retaining a nice shape that gives this cap a true combat look. Interior is lined in the correct light grey linen material. Maker marked, size and dated « 54 / 1936 ». The cap is also unit marked « 6./A.R.26 ». Choice and rare example.
