Early German Luftwaffe map case, « L.B.A. 39 »
Description
An early example of a German military combat map case. Constructed in a pebble chocolate brown leather. In very nice to excellent condition. Only some minor storage wear present if any. Interior is maker marked and dated « 1939 ». Large faintly embossed « L.B.A 39 » over the maker stamp is also present. Brown stitching remains complete and overall an excellent example.
