Early German pioneer axe set
Description
Superb and rare German pioneer axe carrying case, pre-war black leather construction, in excellent and supple condition. It is nicely marked with the maker’s details, the date « 1934 » and the Reichswehr eagle. There is a small pouch provided on the front of the axe carrier for the tape measure « Massband 20m ». The axe is in overall good condition with its original wooden handle, It is marked with the maker’s logo and the date « 1936 ». A very scarce and difficult set to find !
