Description
A stunning German Heer Cavalry piped enlisted man's overseas cap. Factory made example from classic feldgrau wool. Correct and period applied hand sewn « BeVo » eagle and cockade present. Lemon yellow soutache is also complete and untouched. Properly machine straight stitch applied. The overseas cap is in excellent condition, lightly worn. Interior is lined in a light grey heavy linen material. Properly marked with all the maker, address, year of production « AGO Breslau 1939 » and size « 56 ». Rank and name of the soldier written on the lining. An excellent and harder to find example.
