Description

A German Heer cavalry pipped enlisted mans overseas service cap. Textbook factory early manufactured overseas cap in the standard feldgrau wool material. Early-war produced and retains both period hand-applied forest green backed « BeVo » insignia. Classic yellow soutache period machine stitched. A few moth holes from improper storage over the decades are present. Some light staining but overall untouched and in as-found condition. Interior is in excellent shape. Former owners' initials remain. Maker's mark is present along with the size « 56 » and early year of manufacture « 1939 ». Overall a really nice and harder to find example.
