Superb and rare early MP38/40 pouch set in rayon web construction. Constructed from an olive green rayon blend webbing material seen on other fieldgear. For this maker the rectangular stitching is a known feature. Stitching is clean and solid. The back of the pouch is nicely ink stamped along the bottom right in earlier style font with the designation « M.P. 38 u.40». The maker, date, and Waffenamt are marked on the top leather belt loop « fkx1941 ». A very difficult early variation to find in great condition.
