Early pioneer axe set, « 1938 »
Description
Very nice Pioneer axe carrying case, early-war black leather construction, in excellent and supple condition. The flap is nicely marked on the interior with the maker’s details, the date « 1938 » and the Waffenamt. The piece features solid stitching and proper belt attachment hook. There is a small pouch provided on the front of the axe carrier for the tape measure « Massband 20m ». The axe is in very good condition, marked with the maker’s code, the date « 41 » and the Waffenamt ». A very scarce and difficult set to find.
