An early US Army standard issue combat shirt. Manufactured from a tan-khaki wool and featuring the standard reinforced elbows. Period sewn buttons present. Covered in light blue factory tags. Cutters tag with maker and year are present and fully readable. Made by the « PHILLIPS-JONES CORP » of New York and dated early « 1935 ». Mint unissued with no condition issues. A choice and very desirable shirt and highly desirable by vintage clothing enthusiasts. Choice.
