Description
A superb and very rare early USM1 front seam fixed bale combat helmet set with its original camouflage net. The helmet was found in the Metz region in eastern France and has never been cleaned, it remains as found. Evidence of use, soiling and combat wear are present in the detailed photos attached below. The shell retains its factory applied and sewn khaki web chinstraps with early brass hardware. The helmet's period liner is present and original to the helmet. It is manufactured by « Firestone ». The liner is untouched and undisturbed, partially complete. Excellent untouched example and very difficult to find complete with original camouflage net!
