Description

A very nice and complete early USM1 front seam fixed bale combat helmet with a desirable « St-Clair » liner. The helmet's shell is in very nice untouched condition. It shows moderate wear but retaining over 95% of its factory painted finish. Complete with its factory applied khaki colored web straps and early brass hardware. The liner is complete and in really nice untouched and matching condition. Manufactured by the firm and stamped in yellow ink along the dome « SC » for « Saint Clair ». Exterior retains over 90% of the smooth green factory paint. It also retains the usually missing factory applied leather chinstrap in good condition. Overall a really nice early USM1 combat helmet with a nice configuration.
