A very nice pair of German low ankle combat boots. Early-war construction in natural brown leather. Properly and fully marked with all the information including size « 27 1/2 », date « 41 », and maker. Comes with a pair of period laces. Steel heels are marked « 18 L/R » respectively for size. All hobnails and wooden pegs are complete. They are in very nice lightly worn condition. Early pairs like this are extremely difficult to find especially in this condition. A choice set that would display lovely with an early fully dressed combat mannequin.
