Early-war Luftwaffe Fliegerbluse for flight/para, « Unteroffizier »
Description
Luftwaffe fliegerbluse for an NCO « Unteroffizier ». Standard early war factory manufactured tunic. Original factory applied breast eagle in a very scarce and desirable « T » stitch. Fliegerbluse retains NCO tress, yellow early cord twist pipping, and period machine stitched collar tabs. Shoulder boards are a matching pair and original to the tunic. All blue pebble and black buttons are still present and attached. The fliegerbluse is very nicely marked on the interior with the maker « LOHMANN & CO. BIELEFELD » and size information. Below it is also « L.B.A. » acceptance marked and dated « 1941 ». A very nice and very desirable example that would display excellent on a mannequin. An untouched example that is difficult to find in today's collectors market.
