Early war MP38/40 pouch, nice variation, « bnz »
Description
Superb MP38/40 pouch, early to mid war construction in heavy blue canvas, in overall excellent condition. The reverse is nicely white ink stamped with the weapon’s designation « M.P38u40 » and also with the maker’s code « bnz », the date « 1941 » and the Waffenamt but barely visible. The front closure straps and the belt loops are in blackened leather, the D-ring strap is in blue rayon, same material used for the first all-web construction « bnz » pouch in 1940. Very nice uncommon variant.
