An early-war factory produced WWII USM1 helmet liner sweatband. The sweatband is nice slightly worn condition. It is constructed from OD green cotton thin duck material and fully lined in leather. These example features the adjustable buckle along the wearers back for a true fit. The band is nicely ink stamped with the maker and contract number. An accessory that is getting difficult to find and commonly missing amongst factory depot helmets.
