German 10x50 power binoculars, « Dienstglas blc »

Description
A pair of German 10x50 power issued field binoculars cased. The binoculars retain over 98% of their original factory finish. They are nicely marked « Dienstglas 10x50 / 2180835 blc ». The opposite top cover of interesting note is marked with the maker « CARL ZEISS / JENA » a rather obscure find with the majority remaining blank because of the three letter code in use. They come with their bakelite lens protective cover and the leather neck strap. The top lenses are missing their bakelite protective eye cups. Optics are clear and show no signs of use, damage or tampering. The black pressed cardboard case is in very nice and matching condition. Maker marked « ksd », dated « 1943 » and waffenamt. Stitching remains complete, tight and secured. The case also retains a complete and excellent condition leather carry strap. A very nice and desirable set in excellent unissued condition.
