German 10x50 power issued field binocular set, « Dienstglas bmj »
Description
A near mint unissued factory produced pair of 10x50 power field binoculars with neck strap and carrier case. The binoculars are maker marked « bmj », power 10x50, serial numbered and designated « D.F. ». They retain over 98% of their original factory applied tan finish. The binoculars retaining their original neck strap. Optics are relatively clear around 90%. The case is made from ersatz black presstoff material and frontal closure buckle is maker marked « frn 42 », the interior is maker marked and dated « bmj 1945 ». A rather difficult and desirable set of field binoculars to find.
