German 1936 Olympic rings broach. Maker marked on the reverse with « C P » probably for Carl Poellath from Schrobenhausen + « ges. gesch ». Tombak construction with color enamelled rings. Very good, light worn condition with minor enamel damage. No repairs, no damage. These rings could be bought as a souvenir during the Olympic games of 1936 but were also worn as unit insignia on the cap of U-boat crew members.
