German 2cm flak magazine ammo camouflage case

Beautiful German 2cm Flak magazine camouflage ammo case. Manufactured from a thicker gauge steel. Factory applied tan finish. The case fully functions with all handles and latches in place. The ammunitions case is very nicely period spray camouflaged from a green. The combination of the two colors give this case a really nice unique look. It shows actual combat wear and tear with multiple areas of nicks and scuffs. Rates in at approximately 95%. The case measures roughly 26x38x14 cm. The case is maker marked underneath the camouflage finish « bdk 1942 », Waffenamt is also present. Interior horse hair and wood block is absent to secure the two magazines it would have contained them in place. This particular ammo case was originally found last year in the NORMANDY region by the previous collector. A rather difficult and highly sought after case with period camouflage that would display perfectly next to a mannequin or for an equipment collector. Choice.
