Description
A camouflage German gas mask canister. In overall good combat used example. Showing good wear and retaining a single green applied camouflage finish on top of its factory base coat. Several areas of wear to include scuffs, scraps and minor oxidation. The canister retains over 85% of its original finish. In the detailed photos below you can see greater detail. The canister is maker marked « eph » , it is named with full paper label on the extra lens compartment and marked with the Waffenamt. The exterior is numbered « 1044 ». Cleaning cloth spring and extra lens are present. Gas mask itself is dated « 1942 ». Rarer « ebd 44 » marked carrying straps set. A very nice combat used example of a German camouflage gas mask canister.
