Description
German manufactured aiming scope removable top head with period applied camouflage finish. A factory applied coat of typical tan paint is fully present. It retains a period applied light spray of green camouflage finish. These are aiming scopes with a 5x10 power for specific use to armored vehicles including the Hetzer and Sturmgeschütz. This particular section of the main scope would have been positioned into place and located just above the armor of the vehicle. Normal to light wear is present with some paint chips. Optics are intact, clear and without any damage. A rarer piece of camouflage armored vehicle accessories to find. This particular example was recently acquired from an older collection in the Normandy Region and was found in 2014 in Montamy, Calvados, France.
