German cloth Deutsche Kreuz in Gold, « uniform removed / maker marked »
Description
A period cloth version example of the famous Deutsche Kreuz in Gold « DKiG ». Uniform removed example and still retaining partial threads still attached. The cross remains in near mint condition and shows very little if any use. Classic textbook example with die flaw over the « 9 » and referred to at the 3rd version. The backing is complete and ink stamped with the maker's initials « SH ». A very nice been there example.
