Description

A very nice German combat engineer's field saw with scarcer wooden handle design. The steel blade is maker marked with the manufactured logo. Riveted in brass around the handle. Blade itself is sharp and showing almost no real use. The leather carrier is a variant and scarce type. Constructed from black lather and retaining its belt loop and saw closure strap. Fully functional and in good order. Period painted designation along the front in white paint with the letter « K ». A scarce and desirable variant with a period unit designation on the scabbard. Choice.
