Description

An excellent and very rare German combat engineer's field saw with its tan ersatz material scabbard. Saw is marked with the makers name on the blade. It comes with an excellent tan pressed cardboard scabbard. Nicely trimmed in brown leather. The reverse is maker marked and dated « clg43 », the Waffenamt is present as well. The set retains tight stitching and is in overall excellent condition. A desirable combination and one of the nicest we have seen.
