A very rare German engineer's or pioneer's tan ersatz material short wire cutters carrying case set. Factory made example from tan pressed cardboard material. The case is in untouched and as-found condition. Maker marked and dated « 1943 ». From prolonged exposure to the elements some wear, paint splatter and a tear are present. Complete with the maker marked « HDK » and waffenamt set of all metal wire cutters. A very nice and untouched set.
