German Heer M43 EM / NCO field cap, « combat worn »
Description
A very nice German Heer M43 em / nco's field cap. Factory produced example in typical mid-war feldgrau wool. The field cap's exterior shows nice combat use and age. Wear to the nap overall is present. Both factory applied buttons are intact. Period machine straight stitched « BeVo » trapezoid insignia is still present and complete. One minor field repair along the left bill is present and adds a nice overall look to the field cap. Cap shows the two contrasting textures and colors between the exposed sections and interior sections. A very nice feature to see with a true combat worn example. Retains all the correct factory features including pull down flaps and bias reinforcement material. The interior is lightly worn and reinforced from a standard silver grey rayon material. Due to age and wear it has turned golden/tan along the wear points around the exterior rim. Cap is void of markings due to wear and natural age. Sized roughly in a « 56 » cm size. A really nice and desirable combat worn example of a German Heer M43 EM/NCO's field cap.
