Description

A very nice German M41 Heer Infantry non commissioned officers wool combat tunic for a « Feldwebel ». It is in overall excellent condition. Tunic is constructed from an earlier higher quality wool and has been period tailored. It was upgraded with a M36 bottle green collar. The early and rarer Heer breast eagle, and the « Infantry » collar tabs are hand applied, the « NCO » tress is machine straight stitched. Interior of the tunic is complete with no condition issues. Nicely ink stamped along the lower bandage pocket with the maker, location and date « F.W.B.S. KOLN / 7.42 ». Also stamped along the classic position with the size information. Shoulder straps are present with nice « NCO » tress and featuring a single pip for the rank of « FELDWEBEL ». All original buttons are present. Overall a very nice and desirable example of an Infantry « NCO » combat tunic!
