A superb German Heer officers dagger. Complete with knot and hangers. Manufactured by « H. KOLPING / SOLINGEN » and marked along the bottom blade. In overall excellent condition. Hangers are complete and fully functional. Showing some modest wear. Pommel is orange and no evidence of cracking and remains complete. Overall an excellent complete and matching Heer Officers dagger set. The dagger was found in the town of Malmedy, it is a Belgian city annexed to Germany in 1940.
