Description
A German Heer officers M1943 field service cap. French manufactured example out of a finer feldgrau wool. Featuring full silver piped crown and two button closure in the front. Insignia is the typical French made dark green wool variety and is nicely hand stitched.The cap retains a partial leather sweatband that looks to have been removed. Typical factory light grey lining. Size stamped « 58 ». A very desirable and attractive example.
