German Heer / Waffen-SS issued combat map board
Description
A period factory made and Heer / Waffen-SS issued map board. Constructed from plywood and retaining its original celluloid interior straps and sectional. The wood is slightly split (see pictures). It retains a complete brown leather closing strap in functioning condition. This type of map board is seen in every front during WWII. Desirable and difficult to find in excellent near mint condition.
