Description
A standard issue Heer/Luftwaffe shelter quarter/poncho, what is commonly referred to as a zeltbahn. This example is the special and very limited print in brown splinter camouflage print. The condition of the zeltbahn is basically excellent in slightly worn condition. Two small pin size holes and a few missing buttons. Faintly ink stamped in the lower right hand reverse corner with the maker, the location and the date « 1942 ». A very rare variation and extremely desirable in today's collector market.
