German standard issue and late-war Heer/Waffen-SS breadbag. The bread bag is an atypical and ersatz construction variant. Its main feature is the belt retaining hook and strap made from a more commercial metal rather than the standard type seen. Made from a nice olive light green material and blackened leather reinforcements and loops. In mint unissued condition. A very scarce and desirable example not often seen.
