German HJ Flak helper's field cap, « RBNr / 1944 »
Description
A classic example of a Hitler Youth « Flak Helpers » field service cap. Commonly associated with the HJ and their service to assist Luftwaffe FLAK personnel. Standard and textbook factory made example. Constructed from late-war blue wool material. Cap is in mint unissued condition. « BeVo » triangular factory machine straight stitched insignia along the front. Single button closure in place. Nicely lined in the classic blue rayon material and retains its cross « X » stitched lining. Nicely ink stamped with the full « RBNr. », size stamped a large « 58 » and dated « 1944 ». A choice example of a now harder to find piece of headgear.
