Description

A period factory made Heer/Waffen-SS issued map board. Constructed from plywood. Works and functions properly. Modified in the field with two compartments. One large document pouch featuring a black leather and three press buttons. And the front features a clear early plastic now yellowed see-through slip-in compartment. Interior remains untouched with several tacks and the former owner's name written in pencil.This type of map board is seen in use along every front during WWII. A very nice example that is desirable and rather difficult to find.
