German issued pull-over winter hood. Typical later war construction and from a medium quality grey wool commonly seen on winter gloves with similar weave. Not to be confused with the common neck pull-overs, this type is a very difficult piece of winter clothing to locate. Several known pictures took during the Battle of the Bulge show this hood in use. In overall very good condition.
