German late-war pioneer combat assault backpack, « RBNr »
Description
A classic example of a German pioneer combat assault backpack, late-war construction, in nice slightly worn condition, small repair to the flap (see pictures). It attaches to the Y-straps rings and takes the place of the A-frame (Sturmgepack). It can carry two explosive charges of 3kg, the mess-kit and the quarter shelter/poncho. Blue ink stamped with the RBNr.
