Description
A late-war German entrenching tool carrying case. Made from a classic tan ersatz or pressed cardboard « Prestoff » material. Fitted with brown leather strap and belt carrying loops. Maker marked « jwa 4 ». In good serviceable condition. Leather although folded remains supple and easily moved. Remains in untouched and uncleaned condition. Will regain overall shape when fitted with a shovel and suspended on a belt. All stitching is complete and in good overall condition. A very nice example with a been-there combat look.
