German Luftwaffe cockpit chronograph, « Junghans »
Description
A superb German Luftwaffe aircraft cockpit chronograph that was used on the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the Stuka Ju 87 and the Focke Wulf 190. This example was made by « Junghans ». The clock is an early war design and has the brass button and alloy bezel. It is marked on the mechanism of the clock « J30 BZ » with the serial number « 76400 ». The chronograph has not been serviced and we do not guarantee its proper functioning. The clock was considered so valuable, that German pilots were instructed to remove it if they had time, before leaving the crashed plane.
