German Luftwaffe DAK pith helmet, « 1943 »
Description
A very nice German Luftwaffe tropical sun / pith helmet, tan canvas construction. Body is in excellent condition and retains its excellent color. Leather chinstrap is complete and intact. Both shields retain over 95% of their finish. The liner system is in near mint condition, the leather sweatband is nicely ink stamped with the makers code, the date « 1943 » and the size « 55 ». It comes with a pair of German desert dust goggles.Very difficult to find in this condition.
