German M35 single decal camouflage combat helmet, « Stalag 136 »
Description
This is a superb German M1935 former double decal Heer rough camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is a « Q66 » with a lot number of « 2360 ». Rough field applied camouflage exterior. Nicely covering the tri-color and painted around the eagle. Covering well over 97% of the helmets interior and only showing minor wear. The interior is in excellent condition and complete. Leather liner is choice, stamped with the size « 58 », chinstrap complete and nicely maker marked and dated « CARL TESCH BERLIN 1940 ». Domestamp is visible end 1939 dated. Liner is marked with an Eastern Front Stalag 136 Prisoner of War Camp. Worthy of further research. A choice and unique combat helmet.
